My dear friend, Beth, was visiting from NC recently. My big brown (ok, magenta is the same as brown, yes?) Labrador really loves Beth, and they made a peaceful pair at nap-time. Portrait work is difficult for me, but this actually looks very much like Beth, so I am breathing again. Gift to Beth!

ReplyDeleteThis picture does not do the painting justice! It does look like Beth and of course "Sweet Georgia Brown." There is a lot of depth in the sofa color and your foreshortening is awesome. What do you mean you can't do portraits?
